LAKESIDE YURTS
It is hard to describe the airy, bright feeling you get from staying in a Yurt. They are a circular tent (24' diagonal), originally designed by the Mongols. Nowadays, they are constructed of heavy canvas, covering a sturdy lattice frame. All of our Yurts are insulated and have a steeped roof culminating in a skylight dome. Equipped with a wood stove, cozy futon couch, coffee table dining area and two bunk beds with a double on the bottom and single on top, the Yurt offers a serene and uncommon sanctuary for up to 8 people. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans as well as a sink complete with hot and cold running water. A propane refrigerator, stove and lighting ensures you have all the comforts of home! An outdoor shower with hot water and an outhouse complete the 'Yurt' experience. We
have a total of 5 Yurts in 4 different locations on the Ranch. Each
offers a unique experience: 1. Salmon Lake Yurt : Situated across the lake from our popular Salmon Lake Resort. This Yurt puts you right on the shore of this popular fishing lake. You are welcome to enjoy all the amenities at the Resort including the swimming pool, playground and store. It is a 10 minute drive into the Yurt (4x4 is recommended) or travel between the Yurt and the Resort in your motorboat which is yours to use during your stay. 2. Wasley Lake Yurt : Enjoy complete privacy while staying on Wasley Lake. Our Yurt is the only accommodation on this lake and our private road is the only drive in access! This is a remote location over 1.5 hours drive from our Home Ranch along dirt roads. A 4x4 is required. 2 rowboats included. 3. Crater Lake Yurt : We have 2 Yurts located on this private fishing lake in the southwest corner of the Ranch. Includes fishing on Crater, Damsel, Chunky's, Graveyard and Pothole Lakes. 4. Minnie Lake Yurt : Moved from Hatheume Lake in 2005, this Yurt is located right on the shores of Minnie Lake. The rental cost of this Yurt includes rod fees for both Stoney and Minnie Lake and the use of a rowboat. Note : There is no electricity or telephone service at any of the above locations. Yurts Minnie Lake Yurt Daily rental for this Yurt is $425.00 for up to four people. Each additional person is $75.00 per day. Rates & Terms: All rates are quoted in Canadian funds and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include taxes or gratuities. Payment in full due two weeks prior to arrival. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellation Policy: 30/90 days. Penalty: deposit non-refundable. Reservations required. Note: There are no Debit Card or ATM Machines on the Premises. |
