Lake Description : (deep, tougher lake, trophy potential) Beautiful setting. One of the prettiest lakes on the ranch. Almost looks like a football stadium with the lake as the playing field. Bowl shaped. Very steep banks. The lake itself is very deep (over 100') set in a depression in the hills with trees spotted throughout. Our camp is located at the north end of the lake. The lake is subject to windy conditions. The camp is situated in a little valley 100 yds from the lake. Boat access is good and 4wd is recommended. Float tubing the shoreline is the most productive and effective method. Fish the drop-offs or the shallows in the evenings. Great hiking in the immediate area, but please leave artifacts in tact. (Rowboat Rentals).
